Founded in 1987, the Cherokee Chorale has a central purpose of promoting excellence in choral performance. During its twenty-two years of existence, the Chorale has performed numerous classic Masterworks such as Handel's Messiah and the Requiems of Mozart, Brahms, Fauré and Rutter. The group has also performed many concerts of American folk songs and spirituals, patriotic programs, and Broadway selections spanning a century of choral writing.
The Cherokee Chorale is a community of men and women from all walks of life who love the art of choral singing. The singers strive consistently to improve their singing skill by performing challenging
choral music with outstanding professional conductors. If you have an interest in choral music and would like to be a part of a wonderful group of musicians, then I encourage you to consider becoming a part of
this worthy organization. I think you will be glad that you did.
Our group is able to perform fine music because of our growing audience and the generosity of our sponsors. Please be a part of our next concert and experience the beauty of fine choral music performed with the accompaniment of professional instrumentalist.
